Class war at its best. (?)

The folks who are getting the free stuff don’t like
The folks who are paying for the free stuff , because
The folks who are paying for the free stuff can no longer
Afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff.
And the folks who are paying for the free stuff w ant the free stuff to stop.

And the folks who are getting the free stuff want even more
Free stuff on top of the free stuff they are already getting!

Now… The people who are forcing the people who pay
For the free stuff have told the people who are RECEIVING
The free stuff that the people who are PAYING for the
Free stuff are being mean, prejudiced, and racist.

So… The people who are GETTING the free stuff have been convinced they need to hate the people who are paying for the
Free stuff by the people who are forcing people to pay for their free stuff and giving them the free stuff in the first place.

We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now more people getting free stuff than paying for the Free stuff .

Now understand this.
All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere
Between 200 and 250 years after being founded.
The reason?

The voters figured out they could vote themselves money
From the treasury by electing people who promised to give
Them money from the treasury in exchange for electing them.

The United States officially became a Republic in 1776 ,
238 years ago.

The number of people now getting free stuff
outnumbers the people paying for the free stuff .

Failure to change that spells the end of the United States
As we know it.

Any Accountability For Obama’s Czars?

   Posted by: Interceder

Have we heard one word about Obama’s czars since he enthroned them. Has ANY body done a check on what they are, and have been, doing?

Over the course of the last EIGHT (8) years we have paid out MILLIONS of dollars, per year, in salaries to these bureaucrats. However, despite the controversy at the time, if you do some checking, there has not been mention of them since 2008. One piece of information at that time was an article at Investigating Obama. It says:

Quote:

The Compleat* List of Czars
in American Daughter, by Nancy Matthis

Bypassing the authority of Congress, Barack Obama rules through czars — the beginnings of dictatorship:

  1. Afghanistan-Pakistan (Af-Pak) czar, Richard Holbrooke
  2. AIDS czar, Jeffrey Crowley [openly gay white man]
  3. Auto recovery czar, Ed Montgomery
  4. Behavioral science czar, position not yet filled
  5. Bailout czar, Herbert Allison Jr., [replaced Bush bailout czar Neel Kashkari, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Financial Stability confirmed by Senate]
  6. Border czar, Alan Bersin
  7. Car czar, Ron Bloom [Counselor to the Secretary of the Treasury , under Senate oversight]
  8. Climate change czar, Todd Stern
  9. Copyright czar, not appointed yet
  10. Counterterrorism czar, John Brennan
  11. Cybersecurity czar, position will be vacant on August 21st [upon the departure of Melissa Hathaway]
  12. Disinformation czar, Linda Douglass [This is a new media buzz since our earlier list, a response by pundits to the White House request for informants: see Glenn Beck and Lew Rockwell]
  13. Domestic violence czar, Lynn Rosenthal
  14. Drug czar, Gil Kerlikowske
  15. Economic czar, Larry Summers
  16. Economic czar number two, Paul Volcker
  17. Education czar, Arne Duncan
  18. Energy czar, Carol Browner
  19. Food czar, Michael Taylor [a former Monsanto executive, or, the fox in charge of the henhouse]
  20. Government performance czar, Jeffrey Zients
  21. Great Lakes czar, Cameron Davis
  22. Green jobs czar, Van Jones [who has a communist background]
  23. Guantanamo closure czar, Daniel Fried
  24. Health czar, Nancy-Ann DeParle
  25. Infotech czar, Vivek Kundra [Shoplifted four shirts, worth $33.50 each, from J.C. Penney in 1996 (source). His last day in DC government was March 4 but on March 12 the FBI raided his office and arrested two staffers.]
  26. Intelligence czar, Dennis Blair [Director of National Intelligence, a Senate confirmed position. He is a retired United States Navy four-star admiral]
  27. Latin-American czar, Arturo Valenzuela (nominee) [although this post is referred to as a czar, he is nominatied to be Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs and so is subject to Senate confirmation. Voting on his confirmation was delayed to clarify his position on Honduras. Watch WaPo’s Head Count to track status of confirmation.]
  28. Mideast peace czar, George Mitchell
  29. Mideast policy czar, Dennis Ross
  30. Pay czar, Kenneth Feinberg
  31. Regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein
  32. Religion czar, aka God czar Joshua DuBois
  33. Safe schools czar, Kevin Jennings [appointed to be Assistant Deputy Secretary of the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools, a newly created post (that does not require Senate confirmation); openly gay founder of an organization dedicated to promoting pro-homosexual clubs and curricula in public schools]
  34. Science czar, John Holdren
  35. Stimulus oversight czar, Earl Devaney
  36. Sudan czar, J. Scott Gration
  37. TARP czar, Elizabeth Warren [chair of the [Congressional Oversight Panel for the Trouble Assets Relief Program; note that Herb Allison is frequently called the TARP czar]
  38. Technology czar, Aneesh Chopra
  39. Trade czar, Ron Kirk
  40. Urban affairs czar, Adolfo Carrion
  41. War czar, Douglas Lute [retained from Bush administration, married to Jane Holl Lute, currently a Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security]
  42. Water czar, David J. Hayes [a Deputy Interior Secretary and therefore subject to Senate oversight]
  43. Weapons czar, Ashton Carter [actually Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics and so subject to Senate confirmation]
  44. Weapons of mass destruction czar, Gary Samore

Positions being planned:

  1. Income redistribution czar

  2. Land-use czar

  3. Mortgage czar, formally “consumer financial protection czar” (source)

  4. Radio-internet fairness czar

  5. Student loan czar, to oversee a program of mandatory service in return for college money (source)

  6. Voter list czar

  7. Zoning czar

End Quote

Does America know how many czars Obama has in place? Does anyone know how much money we are paying out to them? Does anyone know how much money we are paying out as a result of their bureaucracy?  Does anybody care?

Unfortunately, we have done too little and it is too late to deal with the graft of the Obama administration. Where will we go from here?

When will America realize the cost of government and decide to do something about it?

It’s Not Trafficking If The Government Is Doing It

   Posted by: Interceder

According to Wikipedia, “Human trafficking represents an estimated $31.6 billion of international trade per annum in 2010. Human trafficking is thought to be one of the fastest-growing activities of transnational criminal organizations.”

Is it too coincidental that the current flood of illegal immigrants is concentrated on teens and pre-teens?

Government Spending Cuts Explained

   Posted by: Interceder

You want to buy a new car. You are a true patriot so you want an American made auto and you choose the Saleen S7 Twin Turbo at a cost of $555,000. However, you settle for a Cadillac STS at a cost of $55,000.  Aren’t you great? You are now a genius because you literally saved yourself a half a million dollars!! Of course in actuality, you can’t afford to buy a car at all right now, but your budget cut looks fantastic. You want to buy some new clothes and want to spend about $50,000 this month. However, you then decide to budget a mere $500. You are great because you cut your budged $45,500. You consider yourself to be an economic wizard. Of course, you really can afford only a pair of jeans for $50, but your budget cutting abilities are phenomenal. Does any of that really make sense to you? Well it is exactly what Congress and Obama just did to us with the “budget cuts” and debt increase. The problem is, America is gullible enough to fall for this falderal. How is it that Washington is allowed a whole new set of accounting rules applicable only to themselves. Not spending the money that doesn’t exist amounts to a spending cut. Who can make that work in the real world? If Congress had made the right choice and refused to raise the debt ceiling, the threat was that America’s credit rating would have been lowered. Here is a question no one ever asked. If Congress was not allowed to borrow money beyond its means, what difference would credit rating make?

An Opportunity for Republicans

   Posted by: Interceder

Senator Charles E. Schumer is labeling the Republicans as “extreme” because the Republicans wanted as much as $61 billion in cuts budget cuts while the current number on the table from the Democrats is a mere $33 billion in cuts.

Here is an opportunity for Republicans, if there were just any in Washington who had any guts.

While Shumer calls you “extreme” why don’t you totally embrace that concept and carry it to another degree and say “not extreme enough?”

If only we had some real leaders in Washington. The Republicans just don’t seem to understand why they won their elections. What a terrible pity that they are so willing to turn their backs on America.

Here are some other thoughts on the budget.

1) Since you can’t come to an agreement on the measly $61 billion budget cuts, why don’t you just scrap it altogether and move on to adopt the budget Ryan Paul has suggested for the 2012 fiscal year? It appears that the Ryan Paul proposed budget is at least as developed as the budget the Democrats are trying to force on us now after they have failed to create a budget since 2009.

2) There is really one great thing about the budget stand still. Barak Obama is at least in Washington DC trying to twist arms rather than in the middle east bowing to sheiks or in Brazil promising to buy their oil.

American Government Over-Spending

   Posted by: Interceder

Where are the tax dollars going?

Americans can begin a proactive endeavor to monitor the spending habits of the United States Government by visiting a site created for that purpose. If you have wondered where Federal contracting dollars and grant awards go, or if you would just like to know what the Government is really doing with your money. The Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (Transparency Act) requires a single searchable website, accessible by the public for free. Where are they spending your money?

When Will America Stop Going Broke

   Posted by: Interceder Tags:

U.S.

When will America realize that bigger government programs are not going to be the answer to the nation’s issues.

  • The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. The fed has had 234 years to get it to make a profit, but it is broke.
  • Social Security was established in 1935. The fed has had 74 years to make a profit, but it is broke.
  • Fannie Mae was established in 1938. The fed has had 71 years to make a profit, but it is broke.
  • The “War on Poverty” started in 1964. The fed has had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of America’s money is confiscated each year and transferred to “the poor” but the poor seem to still be with us.
  • Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. The fed has had 44 years to make a profit, but it is broke.
  • Freddie Mac was established in 1970. The fed has had 39 years to make a profit, but it is broke.
  • The Department of Energy was created in 1977. The fed said the purpose was to lessen America’s dependence on foreign oil. The program exceeds 16,000 employees, being paid by American tax dollars. The budget for the program is$24 billion a year yet we import more oil than ever before. The fed has had 32 years to make it work but it has been an incredible failure.

Right now, despite all protest from American citizens and proof of failure in other countries, there is a proposed health insurance “fix” which will cost a “mere” 890 billion dollars.

When will America understand that ANY government program means one thing… a larger government, employing increasing numbers of people being paid by tax dollars. It really seems the current group on capitol hill is only increasing the  job growth in one sector…  government jobs. How many czars do we have? How many government employees have been hired to help run our new purchases in automobile manufacturing? How many government employees have been hired to run our newly acquired mortgage lending companies?

How quickly is America moving to the point where there are more people working for the government than in the private sector? As a result, government wants more tax money from the private sector so it can continue to maintain itself and grow ever larger.

Why does the government want to take over the health care of the American citizen? Maybe it is because health care is 16% of the gross national product. Imagine what the American government could do if they had more control of that pie? Since the goal is government growth, why would the powers that be want to leave such a large part of the economy in the hands of the private sector?

When will America realize that if the government really wants to fix the medical insurance problem they need to get out of the business. True medical insurance reform legislation should cost the American taxpayers ZERO dollars, not 890 billion dollars.

What are you going to do to make sure that tax spending is going to decrease rather than increase?
